Personal History Cards of Male Teachers 1886-1945

Cards of male teachers who had left the service by 1945. There does not seem to be a comparable set for female teachers. Information includes name, date of birth, qualifications and training, classification and school appointments. Sometimes marital status is included. There is often more than one card for a teacher. The bulk of the information recorded appears to have been for teaching between the 1920s and 1940s but there are certainly earlier cards, some of which look as if they may have been compiled retrospectively, especially for teachers who had long periods of service.
