Conduct Registers of Female Convicts Arriving in the Period of the Probation System 1844-1853

The following information is included in this series: date and place of trial, sentence, dates of embarkation and arrival, religion, degree of literacy, crime for which sentenced, gaol and hulk report, whether married, convict’s own statement of her offence, Surgeon’s report on conduct during the voyage, then follows the details of the Description Lists: trade, height, age, complexion, head, hair, visage, forehead, eyebrows, eyes, nose, mouth, chin, native place, remarks (marks) and information on services.
