Information given is name, address, position sought, date last employed, age, height, marital status and where sent to work. It is largely Hobart-based but other areas are included. The volume starts as a chronological register then changes into alphabetical order. At the end of the volume are some miscellaneous pages relating to passes given out and money paid into Treasury.
