Descriptive List of Convicts Who Sailed to Australia Aboard the Dudbrook 1853

This series comprises a notebook in which William Johnston records the names, details and personal observations about the convicts who sailed on the Dudbrook from Plymouth to Swan River, Western Australia, arriving on 2 February 1853. This notebook was kept with other family papers which Johnston brought with him to Tasmania when he settled there in 1855. These records are part of the holdings of the Tasmanian Archives
