Royal Derwent Hospital Patient Records – Case Books (All Patients) 1872-1899

Records name, age, date of admission, name and address of relatives, disease and details of treatment. This series represents the re-introduction of centralised patient-care records. The original volume numbers are a continuation from previous series. (These numbers are listed in the item descriptions to facilitate use of cross-references in the volumes). In this series the first 8 volumes are self-indexed. Thereafter each folio is marked with the admission number of the patient, and the admission register lists the volume and folio for each patient’s treatment record.
