Each result will provide you with transcripts and images of the original registers. The image of the register will include additional details. You may learn the following about your ancestor’s appearance from the images: height, complexion, hair, eyes, nose, mouth, and chin. You may also learn information about particular marks on your ancestor’s body. Additionally, the registers may note religion, marital status, and previous history of the prisoner.
