List of men who were recognized, in 1876, by the Mercantile Navy in Victoria (Australia) as having been granted Certificates of Competency in previous years. It is noted on the last page that “The Certificates mentioned are issued to Officers not entitled to Certificates under the Queen’s Order in Council, and are therefore not recognised in the United Kingdom”.
