Ballarat Asylum/ Hospital for the Insane Nominal Register of Patients 1893-1907

The Nominal Register was created to record the names of all Patients on the books of the Asylum. Both patients in residence and those out on trial leave were included. Details recorded include:

– name of patient,
– date of admission,
– date of discharge/transfer/death,
– how discharged.
