Ararat Asylum/ Hospital for the Insane Nominal Register of Patients 1867-1906

contains the Nominal Register of Patients at the Araradale Mental Hospital including J Ward, the ward for criminally insane patients. The Nominal Register were created to record the names of all patients on the books of the Asylum/Hospital. Both patients in residence and those out on trial leave are included.

Details recorded in the registers include:
