The following list of residents for the towns of Belfast and Warrnambool (with some names from Yambuk, Koroit and Woodford), in south-west Victoria, was compiled from the 1866 Postal Directory. It is far from a complete list of residents. Those who nominated themselves to be entered were done so, many did not bother. At the time the list went to publication, some residents may have moved away or died. Belfast is the name of the former settlement of Port Fairy which resumed that title in the 1880s.
