Following is a list of girls trained at the Royal Hibernian Military School, Dublin, shipped to Australia on the S.S. Pemberton, which arrived in Port Phillip 14 May 1849. In the original document, a single table lists the information, separated here for ease of display. The second half of the table is headed “Disposal List (of the) Pemberton. The immigrants went to the Government Depot 26 May 1849.” Most of the girls were placed with employers in or near Melbourne; the other placements were in Victoria.
