Queensland Electoral Rolls

Electoral rolls are the nearest record Australians have to census listings and hence are extremely important to local, social and family historians. This collection provides information on approximately 783,000 electors in Queensland who were registered to vote on the Commonwealth Roll of 1959. The information recorded includes the person’s name, gender, residence, occupation, and polling information (i.e. division, subdivision and roll number).
