School Teachers’ Rolls 1869-1908

Many people have teachers in their family. The Teachers’ rolls, 1869-1908 (NRS 4073) are one of the most useful sources for researching individual teachers in the latter half of the nineteenth century. They provide a service record for each teacher and include the date of birth, examination results, appointments, promotions and date of resignation.
