Sentenced Beyond the Seas: Australia’s Early Convict Records

Provides colour digitised images of early convict indents held at the State Archives and Records Authority of NSW. These indents list the convicts transported to New South Wales 1842-1855. Early indents provide name, date and place of trial and sentence while the later indents usually include physical description, native place, age and crime.
