The volume in this series recorded the business of general and committee meetings, principally to do with the organisation of annual programs of social dances in Newtown. The volume is the only known minute book of the Newtown Socials Club. The minute book was handwritten and organised chronologically by date of meeting. It was not indexed but at the back of the volume, the names and addresses of committee members were recorded.
