Newtown Building Registers

This series of two volumes records building plans and specifications submitted to Newtown Municipal Council for approval, 1909-1949.

They were created by the Newton Municipal Council (OR-0007) in the period 08/06/1909 to 31/12/1948 and the City Architect and Building Surveyors Department II (AG-0016) in the period 01/01/1949 to 15/12/1949.

Each register entry notes:
– the names of the applicant and builder
– details of the work proposed to be undertaken, and
– administrative information such as fees and receipting.
