1885 Return of Landholders Gerringong Area

In 1885, all landholders in NSW were required to submit a return showing the extent of their land and stock holdings. These returns were organised by Police District. The list contains all those entries recorded in the Kiama Police District which relate to properties in the Gerringong area. It is the closest thing available to a census of the area at that time.
