The Nominal Roll of Vietnam Veterans honours and commemorates approximately 61,000 people who served in Australia’s defence forces during the period 23 May 1962 to 29 April 1975 either in Vietnam or in the waters adjacent to Vietnam. At any time, a veteran or a person with the right to act on their behalf can ask to have their details removed, so the list isn’t a complete record.
