Who’s Who in Australia, 1921-1950

This database contains 11 Australian “Who’s Who” books for the following years: 1921-22; 1922; 1927; 1929; 1933-34; 1935; 1936; 1938; 1944; 1947; and, 1950. “Who’s Who” books are compilations of information on representative and prominent individuals of the area. These books generally contain short biographical sketches on each individual which can include information such names’ of parents, birthplace and date, education, occupation, titles, and accomplishments and achievements. In addition to the biographical sketches, some of the books include a section for obituaries. The types of individuals that can be found in these books include commercial, professional, financial, business, religious, and titled persons.
