The Local Studies Collection of Hawkesbury Library Service includes current and retrospective material on the people, places and events that make the Hawkesbury unique. The collection is suitable for those wishing to conduct local history research and family history research.
Holdings include for example, records of various individuals/bodies:
- Pamphlet collection
- Church and cemetery records
- Environmental impact studies, 1970’s-present
- Church registers
- Photograph collection, 1870-present

The Local Studies Collection is a non-lending collection and is held in Central Library, Windsor. It is available during Library opening hours: Monday to Friday 9 am-7 pm; Saturday 9 am-1 pm and Sunday 2-5 pm. Closed public holidays.
Advance notice of visit required if using the photograph collection or the Council records.
