The Local Studies room in Camden Library contains information relating to the people, the environment, the geography and the history of the Camden area.

The collection contains items of current or historical significance to the local area in a variety of formats including books, periodicals, newspapers, audio-visual material, microfilm and pamphlets housed in the Local Studies room at Camden Library. The collection is for use in the library only, but duplicate copies of some items are available for loan. They also able to provide electronic access to some items.
