Woodend and District Heritage Society
Description
The Woodend and District Heritage Society archives contains documents, maps, newspapers and photographs from the district that once formed the Shire of Newham and Woodend (including Ashbourne, Hesket, Campaspe and, until 1886, Rochford). Copies of local newspapers, including the Woodend Star from 1888-1970 have been digitised. Photographs are held of people and places relating to Newham and Woodend dating from the 1870s.

You can find the Society at Woodend’s old court house every Wednesday, from February to November.
