Wonthaggi Genealogy Inc. is a not-for-profit community group formed in 1996

Their aim is to promote research in Family History and to record and preserve records that relate to Bass Coast and South Gippsland, Victoria, Australia.

The Society has built up an extensive resource collection of Books, CDs, and microfiche covering a wide range of subjects relating to family history research.

For those who cannot visit their Research Centre, the Society has Research Officers who will undertake searches. The fee is $20 per initial inquiry plus costs for photocopying of records or information.

Open Tuesdays and Thursdays 10 am – 5 pm; and Saturdays 10 am – 1 pm or via appointment.
