The Army Museum Bandiana
Description
The Australian Army Museum Bandiana provides a leading-edge focus for the interpretation and display of Australia’s rich military heritage, with a special emphasis on the history of the Army’s Logistic Corps.
For authors and researchers, the Museum has a large Research Library which contains many rare and historical books and pamphlets etc. We also have many original photographs, documents and records relating to military units and their members in times of war and peace.
The Research Library is not a lending library, therefore research generally needs to be conducted on-site. They will, however, endeavour to help where possible if you are unable to visit. Simply Contact the Museum and explain what you are after and they will do there best to assist you.
A list of available catalogued library resources such as books and pamphlets can be downloaded as a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet.
Open: Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays between the hours of 10:00 am to 2:00 pm only.
To book a time to visit you will need to book 24 hours in advance.
Please call Sharon on 02 60552525 to make a booking.
Closed Sundays, Good Friday, Easter Monday, ANZAC Day and Christmas Eve until New Years Day Inclusive.
