The Scone and Upper Hunter Historical Society have been working since 1956 to collect and preserve the story of Scone and the Upper Hunter. Local people have worked for more than 60 years towards the goal of providing a resource for family historians and others with a quest for knowledge of the past.

Scone Research Centre and Museum is open on Wednesday from 9.30 am to 2.30 pm .
