Ringwood & District Historical Society
Description
The Ringwood and District Historical Society exists to collect, preserve and promote material relating to the history of Ringwood, Victoria, and local districts.
Its purposes are three-fold:
to collect local historical objects and information for the local community
to promote local history by holding regular meetings and organising historical displays
to undertake research for members, the general public, government organisations and corporations.
The Archives includes newspapers, journals, books, personal histories, maps, plans, photographs and other material and artefacts.
