An important part of the operations of the Mudgee Historical Society Inc involves family history research. Archives have been compiled since the foundations of the Society in 1964 and their volunteer research team members are able to conduct research from the Society’s now extensive resources which range from original documents to computerised databases.

To make a research enquiry, please email the Society’s researchers at enquiries@mudgeemuseum.com, and include as many details as possible about what information you are searching for, as well as whatever details you currently know to help their team get started.

Please note that the Society’s research team is at the museum on Mondays and Fridays – if you would like to speak to a researcher, please call between 10 am and 2 pm Monday or Friday and they will be able to help with your enquiry.
