Lithgow & District Family History Society Inc. provides a resource library and facilities for people who are researching their family history. They also have a huge amount of local history. In addition, they have numerous books, maps and photos pertaining to the local district, to NSW and to all other states of Australia. The Society also has an extensive index card system as well as a large collection of family trees and journals and Members’ Research Directories from other Family History Societies.
