Wollongong City Library also has local newspapers – Illawarra Mercury, Kiama Independent, South Coast Argus / South Coast Times plus a few short-lived papers on microfilm.
Prospective members and visitors are welcome at meetings which are held regularly usually in the Old Wollongong Court House, corner of Harbour Street and Cliff Road, Wollongong NSW 2500 or sometimes in the Family History area of the Wollongong City Library Reference Section (Burelli St Wollongong).
On Wednesdays and Fridays – from 9.30 am till 12.00 pm – the Group’s member volunteers are available to help with your queries again at the Family History area of the Wollongong City Library Reference Section (Burelli St Wollongong).
