The Fleurieu Peninsula Family History Group Inc. (FPFHG) was formed in October 1996 by local people with a common interest in Genealogy, and was later expanded to include local history. Their members either live on the Fleurieu Peninsula, or have ancestors who resided in the area.

The Fleurieu Peninsula Family History Group has a large collection of materials including books, audio tapes, micro-fiche and films, (which may not be available at this time) computer software, with 4 computers and Internet access for use in research available in their Library/ Resource room. Please arrange to book computer time.

Research can be undertaken on your behalf if you cannot visit the library yourself. They have volunteer researchers who will undertake this research for you at a nominal fee.

If you wish to visit the Resource centre please call in during the times mentioned below, then their helpers can guide you through the processes, and also with research on the laptop computers which have access to the internet using the popular research websites.

Open to the Public 1.00 pm – 3.30 pm on the First Wednesday & Third Wednesdays of each month. (December & January CLOSED).
