The Broome Historical Society has been committed to preserving and protecting Broome’s heritage and history for over forty years. Their significant collection is spread across three buildings, including the heritage award-winning Sailmaker’s Shed.
The Broome Historical Society is usually the first port of call for researchers wanting information on Broome’s history. Their extensive library and archives cover pre-colonial to more recent history. For those wishing to access their records, please contact the administration to make arrangements.
