The Bendigo Family History Group (AIGS) has a large collection of resources covering the Bendigo/Sandhurst district and the extensive Central Goldfields area of Victoria.

They also have access to all published BDM and shipping indexes, many interstate indexes and English GRO indexes.

Members have published many indexes they have compiled themselves, and they are working on many more.

The Bendigo Family History Group meets at 2.00 pm on the third Saturday of the month (except for December) in the Large Meeting Room at the Goldfields Library, Hargreaves Street, Bendigo, Vic 3550.

Members of the public are welcome to ask for assistance in tracing their families and to meet the Bendigo members when they are in attendance at the Goldfields Research Centre in the Bendigo Library, 259 Hargreaves Street, Bendigo:

Wednesdays 10am – 4pm Saturdays 10am – 3pm … excepting public holidays.

There is a fee of $16.50 (Members) $33.00 (Non-members) per hour for this postal service, plus an additional charge of 50 cents per page for any photocopies.
