The Australian Credit Union Archives collection includes records of individual credit unions, the people who work in the industry and associated organisations. It is comprised of a diverse range of record types, including minutes, registers, correspondence, photographs, publications, audiovisual material and promotional items.

The Australian Credit Union Archives offer a telephone and email inquiry service, and welcome researchers to their premises. They are open from Wednesday to Friday. Please contact the Archives prior to your visit to book a research appointment as prior knowledge of your visit will enable them to retrieve the necessary records and ensure you derive the most benefit from your research time.

Researchers are required to complete a simple registration form and to abide by the Archivist’s instructions in relation to using and copying records.

Archives staff are not able to undertake detailed research on behalf of clients.
